The Work That Reconnects
Joanna Macy's framework for addressing the ecological crisis and cultivating
personal and community resilience. Usually a facilitated group experience, it
includes a series of teachings, meditations, and exercises that enable individuals to
reconnect with themselves, others, and the living Earth. It encourages
acknowledging and feeling the pain and grief for the world, fostering a sense of
interconnectedness, and empowering people to take meaningful action.
Starting the Journey 15 – 17 November 2024
A wonderful possibility in The Netherlands. Emerging facilitators embark on a 6-
month Facilitator Development Program designed to deepen the knowledge and
skills needed for offering the Work that Reconnects (WTR). In this training Lian and
Manon share their experiences, gifts and insights as facilitators. Together we deepen
the understanding of this work and help build confidence so we can explore how we
can bring this strengthening work of our times into our communities and
workplaces.
